My name is Jorge (George) Flamengo. I’m a licensed ServSafe Instructor and Proctor. For the past 15 years, I’ve been teaching food service staff members proper food handling & safety procedures, as well as helping them to obtain their Servsafe Manager Food Certificate. I’ve worked with all types & sizes of food establishments, just to name a few; restaurants, bakeries, groceries stores, schools, and franchises. If you’re in the food service business, I’m here to help you. Classes are held in English, Spanish, & Portuguese. Our objective is to make sure everyone understands how to create and maintain safe food standards
Our objective is to ensure everyone that attends our class, leaves with the necessary knowledge, understanding, and ability to go back to their restaurants and train their staff on the proper steps & procedures to ensure a clean & safe restaurant.
We use various tools such as; dry erase boards, flip charts & visual slides to help food handlers understand the material.
If you can’t come to us, we will come to you. We will work with you and make sure you can attend a class. We guarantee the education and knowledge they receive will be the same regardless were the class is held.
Our classes are a 1-day class. On average, the class is about 8 hours with the online exam. We find that students have retained more of the material and achieve better exams scores when they study prior to class & take exam directly after class.
If you’re one of those individuals who doesn’t have a full 8 hours or you feel you can study the material on your own and take the exam, that’s fine too. We are here to assist you and work with your schedule and availability.
